Agronomy's field of activity is the continuous development of the agronomic range of sugar beet cultivation. Yield formation, plant nutrition and the protection of resources are as important as checking for diseases. Besides sugar beet, grain, rapeseed and maize are also stufied for system efficiency.

- energy crop rotations
- integrated nematode control
- root and crown rot - soil structure
- strip tillage in autumn
- system testing of crop rotation
