Head: Prof. Dr. Christa Hoffmann

The department Physiology deals with yield physiology of sugar beet. The characterization of technical qualities and the influence of genptype, environment and farming criteria is of outstanding importance. Technical staff members of the department also take over the central analysis of of ingredients for all trials at IfZ.
