Why do we opt for mounting drone cameras downward-looking and analyzing classic orthomosaic maps when such practices potentially constrain the volume of data and information, we could otherwise use to enhance plant disease prediction models? Connect with the DFG-funded project ON-Cerco (reneheim.github.io) and find out more about the potential of multi-angular remote sensing (e.g. https://doi.org/10.1007/s11119-024-10133-0) applied on the pathosystem sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L.) and Cercospora beticola.
